What will I experience?
Flower essences work gently yet powerfully. I have found that one combination works best when used over 4-6 weeks. At this point a new formulation can be made or we decide to take a break and see how this new state of balance feels. Taking your flower essences before sleep and upon waking is the best time to take them. During sleep we process much of our waking experience both daily and accumulated through our lifetime. So taking an essence just before sleep give the subconscious a hint of what we would like to heal from our experience. The shift from taking the flower essences can be quite obvious to subtle. A shift in emotional mood and behavior may occur within days or gradually over a month. You may experience a sudden insight, more clarity, fewer intrusive thoughts, an emotional release an emotional lightness, what bothered you may just not feel as pressing or raw anymore. Many people report having a more active dream life. The experience is individual.
My experience with flower essences?
As a child I was given flower essences by an art therapist. I always felt a sense of love and guidance when I took them. I couldn't read the label but that didn't matter. I loved the sweet taste and there was a feeling of such care. Now I understand that feeling as attunement. Someone had taken the time to listen to my experience and made it into this beautiful remedy just for me. I remember experiencing many dreams and also crying sometimes to myself which was not a sadness but a sense of relief. Later in my twenties another therapist used these with me and I fell in love with them all over again. At this time my understanding of natural healing and plants was blossoming (hah!). I understood the power of these remedies from another level.
